Olentangy Liberty student organizes “Restoring Reading” project in Slidell, Louisiana

 

 

The National Youth Service Foundation and the Olentangy Rotary Club sponsored the project 'Restoring Reading' by Megan Medeiros at the Olentangy High Schools, Indian Springs Elementary School (and others) that collected over 3,000 books for Brock Elementary and Salmen High School in Slidell, Louisiana that lost most of their library materials in Hurricane Katrina.

 


 

 

 

The Olentangy Rotary Club donates $10,000 to local organizations!


The Olentangy Rotary Club has announced donations of $2,500 to four area organizations. The club made donations to Hospice at Grady, People in Need, Leukemia – Lymphoma Society, and the Make – A – Wish Foundation. Money was raised through the club largest fund raiser the Heart of Gold Charity Auto Raffle and Dance and other events including the Olentangy Rotary Club Golf Outing held each summer.
